First Quality waney - edged Our standard stock material. After sawing, the boards produced from the log are sorted and the best fall into this grade. They include no heart boards and no narrow edge boards.

Prime Narrows Produced from the first cutting around the log when thicker sizes are being produced from the balance of the log.

Prime Boules Boules are complete logs that have been sawn through and through. Prime Boules are produced from 'A' quality logs but have the bad heart boards removed.
